Lantern Energy is proud to be a participating insulation contractor to the Mass Save® Program and is here to help you navigate the energy opportunities available.  Residents of Massachusetts can qualify to participate in extensive home energy efficiency services, rebates, and incentives offered through the Mass Save® program. After you schedule an appointment, an Energy Specialist sent by Mass Save® will visit your home and assess your current energy use, provide a customer list of energy-saving recommendations for your home, and help you develop a plan to make your home more efficient.

 

What you can expect during your Home Energy Assessment:   

  • A Home Energy Assessment usually takes 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the size and age of your home. Key decision-makers should be present at the assessment to take advantage of the expertise of the specialist.
  • The specialist will suggest an energy plan and explain available incentives and rebates including air sealing an dinsulation
  • Installation of compact flourescent bulbs are at no cost to you
  • Combustion Safety Testing of fossil fuel heating and appliances

 

If your home needs insulation, they will provide you with a scope of work and you can request Lantern Energy as your contractor of choice. We will then contact you to schedule your insulation work.

Lantern's field technicians are professionally certified through the Building Performance Institute and Lantern Energy strictly adheres to the standards set forth within the Mass Save® program for the installation of insulation and the performance of advanced air sealing.
