Connecticut Residents

The Small Business Energy Advantage (SBEA) program is designed to provide cost-effective, turnkey energy-saving services for small commercial and industrial electric and/or Gas customers who do not have the time, financial resources, or in-house expertise necessary to analyze and reduce their energy usage.

With support through the Energize Connecticut initiative, you now have the financial assistance and expert guidance that will enable you to determine your energy future by making decisions based on efficient technology.

Who Is Eligible?

Commercial and industrial customers with an average 12-month peak demand between 10 and 200 kW for Utility customers.

How Does The Program Work?

  1. Once your utility determines that you are eligible for the program, our representative will call you to schedule a site visit. Our Energy Expert will conduct an energy assessment of your facility at no cost to you.
  2. Upon approval by your utility, the contractor will present a proposal to you. This proposal will include all applicable energy efficiency measures, the complete costs and estimated energy savings, along with available SBEA program incentives and financing options.
  3. Once signed, your project will begin within 30 days. The Energy Efficiency Fund’s SBEA program incentives will offset a portion of the cost of all eligible measures.
  4.  Interest-free financing for the balance of the project is available for qualified customers.
